Juventus are planning a shock move for Espanyol centre-back Hector Moreno, according to reports in the player’s native Mexico.
Radio Formula believes the Serie A giants are set to swoop for the 27-year-old as back up to Andrea Barzagli for next season after the Italian international missed the first half of this term through injury.
Moreno, who has won 58 caps for Mexico, has recovered from a broken leg to make 12 starts for Los Pericos this term, while the Old Lady see him as similar in playing style to Barzagli as he can operate in a back four as well as a three-man defence.
