The agent of Alvaro Morata has insisted that the Juventus striker is not interested in returning to Real Madrid any time soon.
The Spain international signed a five-year deal with the Old Lady in a €20m deal, which contained buyback clauses, last summer and has subsequently impressed for the Serie A champions.
His performances have reportedly prompted Los Blancos to push ahead with their plans to repurchase the forward, but Giuseppe Bozzo believes they would be wasting their time.
“At this point, [Alvaro] is strongly tied to Juventus,” he told Tuttosport.
“When we talk about a great player like Alvaro, he has the last word, regardless of the clauses. He feels fine at Juventus and isn’t thinking about other things.
“Everything depends on the will of the player, as happened with his decision to leave [Madrid] a year ago. Madrid didn’t want to sell and then wanted to transfer him to clubs offering more than Juventus.
“But Alvaro was stubborn and the only word that counts is his. He proved it when he said he wanted to go to Juve, despite the pressures placed on him by Madrid. He has guts and courage.
“A few days ago, he said in an interview in Spain that he was feeling good at Juve, wasn’t planning on returning to Madrid and wanted to continue improving in Turin.
“He also said that he wanted to try winning the Champions League with Juventus and told me so himself.
“He’s a strong lad, who’s not afraid of anything. Juve are his obsession, and he’s also making a career with the national team and becoming a hero for all Spaniards, not just Madrid fans.
“That said, any club, even one as powerful as Madrid, wouldn’t spend so much money to bring back a player who doesn’t want to move.
“I can’t say any more than that, but he would be in seventh heaven [if he won the Champions League with Juventus].”
