Cordoba have confirmed that Miroslav Djukic has been relieved of his duties as first team Coach at the Nuevo Arcangel.
The Andalusians are currently bottom of La Liga and the 2-0 defeat to Malaga on Sunday proved the final straw for President Carlos Gonzalez and he told reporters that Jose Antonio Romero would be in charge for the remainder of the season.
Romero has been at the helm of the club’s second string this term, who are bottom of Group IV in Segunda B, and has just 11 games to steer Cordoba to top-flight safety.
Djukic replaced Albert Ferrer earlier in the season but has overseen a run of just one point in eight games amid reports he has lost the confidence of the dressing room.
