Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos says Carlo Ancelotti is the best Coach he has ever played under following his team’s 2-0 home win over Levante.
Ramos played the whole 90 minutes on his return from injury and was quick to back under-fire boss Ancelotti after the game.
“If there is a Coach who deserves respect, especially with what others have been allowed to do or been forgiven for, then it’s Ancelotti,” he told reporters.
“It’s been difficult lately but whoever isn’t up for it shouldn’t wear the shirt and a wake-up call is never a bad thing. The demands here are higher than at any other place.
“I’ve been here a long time and seen every kind of situation and right now it’s not anything to worry about. We must be more united than ever and go to the Camp Nou next week looking to win. Today was a good opportunity to get our confidence back.”
