No Madrid crisis insists Silva

New Real Madrid man Lucas Silva says there is no crisis at the club ahead of the Champions League clash with Schalke.

The Brazilian only joined Los Blancos in January in a switch from Cruzeiro for a reported €14m, yet the team’s form since then has seen them relinquish top spot in La Liga to eternal rivals Barcelona.

Nonetheless, Silva is confident things will turn around and told of his initial impressions of the Spanish capital.

“There is no crisis here. We’ve been through a moment of instability but are calm,” he insisted to reporters at a Press conference.

“Sometimes things don’t go as you’d like them to, but we need to work hard and do more running in games in order to can get out of this bad run and start gaining more consistency.

“Personally, I’ve got a lot to improve on after my first few matches and I need to continue developing as a player, although I feel relaxed and ready to be more involved.

“I’ve played in two positions so far – in [Toni] Kroos’ position and out wide, although I’m relaxed wherever I play, but it’s the Coach who decides.

“I’ve found a house in Madrid and got a new car. I’ve also been around a few of the tourist spots and I already feel at home despite being on my own.

“My family is due to join me next month and I’m settling in more with each passing day,” he revealed.
