Cordoba boss Miroslav Djukic has admitted his team needs to start winning games, starting with Monday’s fixture at home to Getafe.
The Andalusians are currently bottom of La Liga, having won just three times in 25 matches and are four points adrift of second-bottom Granada, and the Serbian is well aware they are in desperate need of points.
“Getafe will be a difficult opponent and we know what is at stake. But we are playing at home and must start our comeback now,” he told a Press conference.
“The opposition are an orderly, balanced side that makes sacrifices in defence. They are also disciplined tactically with some versatile players up front.
“It’s an important match where only victory will suffice. We have 13 finals from now until the end of the season and this is the first.
“Therefore, we are not looking at other games because we know we have to win and we’ll be trying to take all three points,” declared Djukic.
