Karim Benzema believes Real Madrid have rediscovered their form after the win over Elche and joined in the chorus praising Isco.
Benzema opened the scoring at Martinez Valero and had a spectacular overhead kick ruled out for offside, but insisted that the team’s success was more important.
“We won with good feelings, played very well, defended together, attacked together and we’re much better now,” the striker said, AS reports.
“I don’t know if it’s the attitude but you can see we’re at our best. When we’re good, like today, we create a lot of chances.
“I scored a goal that was crucial and it’s a shame. But the important thing is what’s good for the club.
“Isco? He’s very young and he’s a fantastic player for Madrid. He’s very good.”
