More Turkish delight for Atleti?

Atletico Madrid are reportedly keeping a close eye on both Besiktas forward Gokhan Tore and Bursaspor defender Ozan Tufan.

Turkish newspaper Sabah claims Los Colchoneros’ scouts were present during the Super Lig match between Besiktas and Bursaspor on Sunday, with their attentions firmly fixated on the starlets.

The Istanbul giants ultimately ran out 3-2 victors, but the pair impressed as they scored for their respective teams.

Sabah adds that Atleti will monitor Tore, 23, for a second time, when Besiktas travel to Liverpool in the Europa League on Thursday.

Tore, a Chelsea youth product, spent the latter half of 2013-14 on loan at Besiktas from Rubin Kazan, before his move was made permanent for €4.5m last summer.

Tufan, meanwhile, has been linked with Atleti on numerous occasions in the past, and his display against the Turkish League leaders may have finally forced them into formalising their interest.

The 19-year-old, who can play anywhere down the right flank, now shares the same agent as both Arda Turan and Tore in Ahmet Bulut, who is also a close ally of Jorge Mendes.

The Spanish champions have also been linked with Fenerbahce midfielder in recent weeks, while another Turkish star Emre Belozoglu spent the first half of 2012-13 with the club, making seven appearances.
