Djukic laments Cordoba concentration

Cordoba Coach Miroslav Djukic criticised his team for switching off in the second half and allowing Almeria to record a come-from-behind win.

Fede Cartabria put Cordoba in front inside 10 minutes but two second half goals from Almeria right-back Michel delivered the points to Los Rojiblancos.

“When intensity is low or there’s no concentration, the opponent can hurt you and they punished us,” Djukic told reporters, according to AS.

“We can’t afford gaps in our concentration. Almeria attacked twice and scored two goals. They were both very defendable.

“Then they defended in number and without leaving any spaces. The blow hurts but it is what it is and we have to be stronger, we have to get used to suffering because there are a lot of finals to come.

“We have to be prepared to endure this fight because there are four or five teams that will be down there.”
