Miroslav Djukic has claimed that "every game is now a final" for Cordoba ahead of their encounter with Almeria in La Liga on Sunday.
The new boys have fallen back into the relegation zone after a run of three matches without a win, and the Serb's next assignment sees his side take on the Andalucians, who sit just one point and two places ahead of them in the table.
"Almeria are a direct rival, so we must play well because we're aware of game's significance," the Coach said at a Press conference.
"Almeria look to play quickly in the second phase, so we must adapt to these circumstances and be smart.
"Every game is now a final and we have to play against Almeria like it's one.
"They're in the same [relegation] fight as us, hence it's a very important game and we must be aware of this, regardless of whether the [Nuevo] Arcangel is a fortress.
"[Thievy Bifouma] is different type of player [to Tomer Hemed], who does well in space, not to mention [Fernando] Soriano.
"Almeria have very quick players on the wings, are physically strong and good at set-pieces.
"Almeria are in our mini-League and will fight with us. We'll fight on the pitch because the only thing that dictates [our fate] is green, even if it's yellow sometimes [referring to the bad pitch]."
