Nacho set to start against Sevilla

Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti looks set to use Nacho at left-back for Wednesday’s game against Sevilla.

According to AS, the 25-year-old will get the nod as Fabio Coentrao is still struggling with injury and Marcelo is just one caution away from automatic suspension.

Coentrao was originally Ancelotti’s first choice for the game with Unai Emery’s men as he is aware one more card would see Marcelo miss the derby with Atletico Madrid this weekend.

However, Portuguese international Coentrao is still troubled by a foot injury and Nacho would start his sixth La Liga game of the season if selected, his last outing coming almost a month ago in the defeat of Espanyol at the Santiago Bernabeu when he scored after coming off the bench.

James Rodriguez is another player expected to miss the Sevilla clash. The Colombian is also one card away from suspension and Ancelotti wants to ensure he is available for the Vicente Calderon, while Sami Khedira is being tipped to take his place.
