Ibra’s agent slams Pep Guardiola

Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s agent Mino Raiola has re-opened the wounds caused by the striker’s controversial time at Barcelona.

The Swede had a well-publicised run-in with Barca boss Pep Guardiola in his time with the Catalans, during which their relationship deteriorated to the point where they allegedly never spoke for months, and Raiola has described the current Bayern Munich Coach as “a nasty piece of work”.

“Guardiola was the person who took Ibra to Barcelona and after that he treated him very badly. He is a nasty piece of work as a man but a great Coach,” he told Dutch newspaper De Volkskrant.

Raiola also said that “Inter and Milan should be merged into one club” to compete with bigger clubs like Real Madrid and Barcelona, whilst also offering his thoughts on the forthcoming FIFA presidential elections.

“I feel terrible when I think that [Sepp] Blatter could get re-elected. Do we continue with a dictator or give way to democracy?” he asked.
