Miroslav Djukic felt Cordoba’s 1-1 draw with Eibar on Friday was further evidence that his side were ‘improving each day’.
Los Califas extended their unbeaten run to three matches courtesy of their point against their fellow new boys, and the Coach challenged his team to maintain their resurgence.
“The most important thing is that the team are improving each day, but room for improvement remains,” he said after the game.
“Everyone's working well. We can’t lose our essence, it’s what’s allowed us to move up the table a little – work, sacrifice and defensive intensity.
“I love coaching quality players with intensity. It’s important that everyone [connected to the club] contributes their part so we can get results and that the project works.
“Eibar are a team who know what to do at all times. We had to be patient and wait for our moment [to arrive] because they close the spaces very well.”
