Juanfran has insisted that Atletico Madrid's rematch with Barcelona in the Copa del Rey quarter-finals will be a 'very different' affair.
Los Colchoneros were recently defeated 3-1 by the Catalans in La Liga and will face their adversaries again in the last eight of the cup competition after eliminating Real Madrid on Thursday.
“We know the next round will be very different. We played [Barca] and left defeated,” the right-back said after the 2-2 draw at the Santiago Bernabeu.
“Hopefully things will change. I'm quite sure it'll be a different game from the one at Camp Nou.
“We knew we had to score, and that changed things a lot, but we faced a very strong [Real] Madrid.
“It was a very intense first half, but we came through it as true champions. We deserved to win the tie because we were better in both games.”
