Scottish side Rangers have denied offering Valencia assistant Ian Cathro the chance to take over as manager.
Rangers are looking for a new boss after Ally McCoist resigned and Kenny McDowall was placed in charge, with Cathro rumoured to be on the agenda.
But reports in Scotland say Rangers have denied the link with Cathro, a former Dundee United youth coach who followed Nuno Santo to Mestalla from Rio Ave in the summer, having worked with Nuno in Portugal.
