‘Ronaldo to PSG? Impossible’

Jorge Mendes has categorically ruled out the possibility of Cristiano Ronaldo one day leaving Real Madrid to join Paris Saint-Germain.

The Portuguese attacker has been linked with a move to the Ligue 1 giants for quite some time, but the superagent insists his client will only swap the Santiago Bernabeu for the US in the latter stages of his career.

“It’s impossible for PSG to sign him, even for someone like Cristiano, with whom everything is possible,” he told Telefoot.

“He’ll see out his [top-level] career with Real Madrid and then maybe go to the US, only God knows.

“He’s a machine, the best player of all time, no-one can match him and it’s not even fair to compare him to others.

“Give me the name of another winger who can score even 10 percent of his goals…

“I have a good relationship with my friend Nasser [Al-Khelaifi], and he’s done a great job in Paris.

“They’re currently one of the best clubs in the world. The English and Spanish leagues are better, but with PSG, there’s now more quality in France.”
