Djukic unhappy with referee

Miroslav Djukic said he was unhappy with the referee’s decision to go ahead with Cordoba’s Copa del Rey tie with Granada at El Arcangel.

Cordoba boss Djukic’s side went down 2-1 on aggregate after Diego Mainz had replied on the hour mark to Florin Andone’s early strike for the hosts, but the Serbian claimed he did not even see the decisive goal in the 1-1 draw.

“This game should never have been played because of the mist and I didn’t even see Granada’s goal,” he told a Press conference.

“In fact I saw very little, but my team did everything to win the match and fought and fought.

“In the first half we had chances to have won it but I couldn’t see what was happening on the other side of the pitch.

“However, the game was played and we have to accept it, although the referee didn’t ask our opinion.

“Now we must focus on the League with everything we have,” he added.
