Javi Gracia stressed the importance of Malaga's meeting with Celta Vigo later on Saturday. "We can take a very important step forward."
The Andalucians ended a run of three matches without a win by beating Deportivo La Coruna 1-0 last weekend, and the Coach backed his side to continue their resurgence against the other Galician outfit, whom he praised for their battling tendencies.
"I look forward to securing the three points on Saturday, but we must enjoy this game. We can take a very important step forward," he told reporters at a Press conference.
"We're playing good opponents, rivals who, although in recent games have not earned very good results since the away win at Barca, are a dangerous team.
"We know that historically Celta have struggled at La Rosaleda, but this is data which keeps us alert and focused. We are aware of the difficulties they can threaten us with, and we're motivated to stay on track.
"Celta press a lot and win back possession. I do worry about possession, but not having it isn't synonymous with not being in control of the game. We will try to approach the match in the best way we can."
