Sergio Ramos has announced he is backing Carlo Ancelotti to continue as Coach at Real Madrid.
The defender believes Ancelotti gets the best out of the star-studded players in the Madrid squad and feels the future is looking rosy under the Italian.
“Any compliments I make about him wouldn’t do him justice,” maintained Ramos at the presentation of an app to prevent sudden death in football.
“He was a player himself, manages the dressing room impeccably, talks to us about any problems and gets the best out of every one of us.
“The [16-match] run we’ve had is the result of everybody’s hard work, but that is led by the boss, and he has won over the Real Madrid supporters and the squad.
“I hope he is with us for a long time because his project for the future is looking very good.”
Ramos also commented on striker Jese’s return to first-team action following long-term injury, the youngster having scored in the 5-0 Copa del Rey victory over Cornella after coming on as a substitute.
“We’ve got on well for years and I’ve often spoken to him. I’ve told him he is a unique player who creates a real impact and I’m glad to see him back on the pitch looking like he did before.
“He has been through a lot and suffered in silence. It’s great for the team to have him back,” added Ramos
