‘Jese will play against Cornella’

Real Madrid Coach Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed that Jese will make his return from injury during Tuesday's Copa del Rey fixture with Cornella.

The 21-year-old is back in contention after making a full recovery from the knee ligament damage  sustained against Schalke in March, and the Italian spoke of his delight at being able to call upon the forward again.

"I plan to rotate my players, not because the team are tired. The team are doing fine, but [my XI] will be determined by technical profiles, not physical," Ancelotti told reporters at a Press conference

"Jese won't start the match but he'll play in the second half. It's great news for us, as he's a guy with great quality. He's eager and very excited.

"Khedira is also fine. Pepe, Ramos, Marcelo, Ronaldo and Benzema will rest. Kroos is called, but I'll play with Illarra, Medran and Khedira in midfield."
