Nuno Santo liked what he saw from Valencia as Los Che dispatched Elche with Peter Lim in attendance.
Lim’s proposed takeover of the club took a big step forward on Friday and it’s expected the deal will be completed in a month’s time.
Nuno confirmed to reporters that Lim visited the players before and after the match and gave an inkling as to how the exchange went.
“First he wished us luck and then he congratulated us. He was very personable,” Marca reports Nuno as saying.
“He was also at the hotel. Having him here has been special and the players gave him a good game.
“We were serious, competitive, organised and pressurising. We’ve done a great job after losing to Deportivo La Coruna.”
