No Old Trafford return for Hernandez

Real Madrid striker Javier ‘Chicharito’ Hernandez will not be returning to Manchester United when his Real Madrid loan deal expires next June.

Red Devils’ boss Louis Van Gaal allowed the Mexico international to join Madrid on transfer deadline day this summer after signing Radamel Falcao from Monaco.

However, according to reports in Spain, the Dutchman has no intention of bringing him back to Old Trafford and is instead hoping the player will turn in some impressive performances that will see his transfer value rise.

The Daily Express reports that some of Europe’s major clubs, including Tottenham Hotspur, Bayern Munich and Roma, have all shown an interest in the 26-year-old, although Los Blancos could well make the deal permanent if he is a success in La Liga.

Hernandez has found it difficult to break into Carlo Ancelotti’s star-studded line-up so far this term but has been on target twice in his four appearances.
