Fernando Llorente admitted he needed a goal to give him confidence following Juventus’ 1-0 Champions League defeat to Atletico Madrid.
“It’s true. I’m missing the goal that will restore my confidence, but the important thing is that the team wins because I’m sure it will arrive,” the former Athletic Bilbao striker told Canal Plus.
“We are sad because I think we deserved more against Atleti. It was a very tactical game and they were more precise with the details.
“I hope both teams go through to the next round and it was a shame for us because we failed to get anything, but we have to look forward.
“We have a good team and up until now we’d won all our games,” he commented.
