Malaga midfielder Duda believes his team can cause Barcelona problems when the teams clash at La Rosaleda on Wednesday night.
Luis Enrique’s men have yet to concede a goal in La Liga this season but Portuguese international Duda, who scored Malaga’s late equaliser against Espanyol at the weekend, is convinced the Costa del Sol outfit can spring a surprise.
“It will be a difficult game but we will up to the challenge because we are at home in front of our own fans,” the 34-year-old told a Press conference.
“We’ll be facing the best team in the League so we need to do our homework and hopefully get a bit of luck, although if we continue doing things as we have been we will definitely have our chances.”
Duda admitted that the most difficult thing will be trying to get the ball off Barcelona.
“It will be impossible for us to dominate possession but we’ll try to surprise them with some things I don’t wish to talk about here.
“We have good pace and passing ability in our side and the boss [Javi Gracia] wants us to play with the ball at our feet.
“We are happy with our team and the important thing is for the squad to keep working as it has been,” he added.
