Former Barcelona Coach Tata Martino has been confirmed as the new Coach of the Argentina national team.
Marca reports that Martino will tomorrow be unveiled as successor to Alejandro Sabella at a Press conference after being hired on a four-year contract.
Jorge Pautasso will be Martino’s assistant, as he was at Barca, while the likes of Elvio Paolorosso will also be part of the backroom staff.
The appointment reunites Martino with Barca pair Lionel Messi and Javier Mascherano, who were under his charge last season.
Sabella took Argentina to the World Cup final where the South Americans were beaten by Germany through a Mario Gotze goal.
