James Rodriguez has reflected on his Real Madrid debut, winning a trophy in his first appearance in the European Super Cup.
Marca reports James as saying the chance to play with the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo – who scored both goals as Sevilla were beaten in Cardiff – was a good feeling.
“Not only to play with Cristiano but with all the stars…hopefully I can play with them a lot more,” the Colombia international said.
“I hope I can soon accomplish more with this great club. This is something unique I will never forget.
“It’s been very fast but when one is mature everything is easier. I’ll play wherever the Coach wants – No.8, No.10, as a striker…”
