Valencia hope to beat Arsenal to the signing of Colombia international goalkeeper David Ospina, reports in Spain and France claim.
Sport cites a story from L’Equipe that says Valencia are among Ospina’s post-World Cup suitors, with Arsenal also in the picture, as well as a second, unnamed, Spanish team.
Ospina is currently with Nice but has been linked with a transfer after impressing for his country at the tournament in Brazil.
The 25-year-old has been playing in France since a 2010 move from Nacional, the Medellin-based club.
