Morata to Juve in doubt?

Alvaro Morata’s move from Real Madrid to Juventus has been thrown into doubt after Antonio Conte resigned as Coach of the Italians.

Conte stepped down last night and AS reports that Morata’s move to Turin has been complicated by the development.

Morata is back in training with Madrid but is training away from the rest of the first team, having already reached an agreement with Juventus.

The striker was waiting for the clubs to finalise a deal but it was Conte who pushed Juve to the signing of Morata and his departure could threaten the transfer.

Juventus are said, however, to have passed a message to Morata to insist they still intend to complete the transfer as it was a decision of the club and not the Coach.

Morata wants Juve to push the deal through, or he will consider the offers on the table from Wolfsburg and Villarreal.

It’s also possible that Madrid will ask Morata to stay, since they are looking for a striker to replace him but could end the search if he remained at Santiago Bernabeu.
