Lopez ‘wants Madrid stay’

Diego Lopez wants to stay at Real Madrid, according to his agent, and hasn’t been told his days in the capital are numbered.

It’s been reported in Spain that Madrid are to sign Levante’s Keylor Navas, and Lopez would be sold to make room for the Costa Rica international.

But Manuel Garcia Chiron has said Lopez hopes to remain at Santiago Bernabeu and isn’t aware in any change to his situation.

“[Lopez] has no intention of leaving. [Madrid] haven’t told us anything,” Mundo  Deportivo reports Chiron as saying.

MD also quote the agent of Navas, Ricardo Cabanas, as confirming his client is keen to play for Los Blancos.

“[Navas] would go to Madrid with his eyes closed,” Cabanas reportedly said.

“He is in a cloud. Keylor will fight for everything.”

Cabanas and Chiron originally spoke to the bernabeudigital.com website, Mundo add.
