Barcelona sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta has refused to comment on speculation that Luis Suarez has already signed with the club.
Report in Spain and England in recent days has claimed that the Blaugrana have agreed a fee with Liverpool for the Uruguay international.
But the board member at Camp Nou has insisted that he’d rather talk about deals that have already happened.
“Negotiations held privately are better. I'm happier that way. The rest is speculation” he told reporters.
“We are working to get the best squad. There are more deals [going on] than you imagine".
