Luiz Felipe Scolari has insisted that he is responsible for Brazil’s 7-1 defeat to Germany this evening.
The Selecao were embarrassed in the World Cup semi-final in Belo Horizonte, and the Coach has claimed that he is the one to blame.
“We ask for forgiveness for the result. We thank the fans for their support even during this defeat,” he told reporters.
“I am responsible [for the] catastrophic result. I made the choices. I was responsible.
“What happened today had little to do with how we had been playing.
“We lost control, that's not normal but it happens.”
