Netherlands defender Bruno Martins Indi has admitted that they have to stop Lionel Messi getting the ball in their semi-final.
The Dutch take on Argentina in Sao Paulo on Wednesday evening, and the centre-back has conceded that the former Ballon d’Or winner is key to who will come out on top and make the final.
“Argentina are still a very good team. But Belgium also got some chances against them. I’ve watched that match,” he told NUSport.
“Every team has strong and weak points. We have to make sure that Messi doesn't get the ball.
“Look at the way we are positioned in defence. I'm doing things differently then I used to do, and I try to read the game a lot more.
“When you play against the best players in the world, you'll only get better.”
