Netherlands assistant Coach Patrick Kluivert believes Argentina should be as worried about Arjen Robben as they are about Lionel Messi.
The Netherlands booked their place in the final four with a penalty shootout win over Costa Rica on Sunday and AS reports Kluivert as acknowledging the size of the task that awaits the Dutch.
“The quality of Argentina is awesome. It will be very hard for us and for them,” the former Barcelona striker predicted.
“Argentina have major individual players. Both teams have players who can decide a game.
“Stopping Lionel Messi? How do Argentina stop Arjen Robben? Messi is a special player.”
Kluivert also admitted that the game will push the players to the limit but insisted it’ll be the same for both sides.
“There will be tiredness, sure, but for Argentina too. We have time to get our fitness,” he continued.
“We won’t be fatigued because we have four days to rest and four days is a lot.”
