Didier Deschamps has claimed that France’s loss to Germany this afternoon was down to a lack of experience.
Mats Hummels’ header on 13 minutes was enough to take the Mannschaft into the semi-finals of the World Cup.
But the Bleus Coach has insisted that his men just didn’t have the nous to get over the line.
“They are a team who have more experience than us,” he told reporters.
“We stop here, I don't regret anything, even if we had the ambition and drive to go further.”
