France Coach Didier Deschamps has called for his players to focus on their World Cup fixture against Nigeria.
Les Bleus meet the Super Eagles later today and FIFA’s official website reports that Deschamps played down talk of his side as potential World Cup winners.
“My only concern is Nigeria in the last 16 and to make sure with my staff that we prepare the players for battle,” the former Valencia midfielder said.
“There's no point looking beyond that. It's not like the group phase, where you can make amends. The verdict falls at the end of the match.”
