Argentina thank Messi stunner

Leo Messi got his first World Cup goal in eight years as Argentina pushed past debutants Bosnia 2-1.

The Barcelona legend was on target with a sensational solo effort, dribbling past several players before thumping a shot in off the upright.

The Albiceleste had been unimpressive overall, taking the lead through an early Sead Kolasinac own goal.

Vedad Ibisevic also gave Bosnia a consolation in the final stages of this Group F encounter. On Monday Nigeria and Iran face off.
