Wolfsburg are said to have outbid Juventus in the battle to sign Real Madrid forward Alvaro Morata.
AS reports the German side as offering €20m for the striker, whereas Juve had only gone as high as €18m. Both offers are understood to include buy-back clauses.
Representatives from Wolfsburg have been in Madrid to speak to Morata and convince him to go to the Bundesliga, although Morata is thought the favour the offer of Juve, who would pay him €2.2m a year on a five-year deal.
Inter are also said to have made an offer to Madrid for the services of the 21-year-old.
