Liga trio in France WC squad

France have named their 23-man squad for this summer’s World Cup, with a trio of Spanish-based players going to the tournament.

Real Madrid pair Raphael Varane and Karim Benzema have been included by Coach Didier Deschamps, as well as Real Sociedad winger Antoine Griezmann.

Franck Ribery had been an injury concern ahead of the squad announcement, but the Bayern Munich forward has been included in the travelling party.
