Sergio Ramos dedicated his equalising goal in the Champions League final to Real Madrid fans everywhere.
Ramos netted in injury time to level the scores and Madrid went on to win 4-1, Gareth Bale, Marcelo and Cristiano Ronaldo netting in extra-time.
“It was amazing. That goal isn’t mine, it’s all Madridistas, my family, my wife and my child and I also dedicate it to my grandfather,” Publico reports Ramos as saying post-match.
“Atletico are a huge rival and deserving League champions.”
Ramos added that he embraced Iker Casillas – at fault for Atletico’s goal – because of the experience of the good and bad of the day, and celebrated his home town as well.
