Bojan Krkic has claimed that he has ‘no doubt’ he can return to Barcelona and claim a starting place.
The Spain international has been on loan at Ajax this season, where he’s impressed for the Eredivisie champions.
However, having returned to Camp Nou, the forward has insisted that he has the quality to play for Luis Enrique’s side, but is unsure where his future lies.
“I have no doubt I can play for Barça, but I don’t know if it would be the best [option] for me at this time,” he told Marca.
“I want to weigh up all the options: Barcelona, Ajax or other offers that could come in. I don’t want to close the door on anything.
“At Barcelona, from the early days when I broke through, I was seen as a goalscorer. Going somewhere else for a while has shown me I can enjoy games from a perspective other than scoring goals.
“My Italian adventure was positive because I improved a lot in tactical terms, most of all defensively, which is something I hadn’t worked on quite so much. In Holland, I have got the buzz back. I’ve gone back to playing as a centre-forward, which is where I perform best.”
