Carles Puyol could be on his way to the MLS, with New York Red Bulls and LA Galaxy both thought to be interested in the defender.
The Barcelona captain is set to leave Camp Nou this summer, but it is as yet unclear whether the centre-back will retire or join another team.
Marca though, insist that the Spain international will leave for America, with the East Coast team his preferred option.
Another possibility however, is that Puyol could take a year out from football, before signing for new MLS outfit New York FC, who will start up in 2015.
