Marca have revealed this morning that the Portugal ad Brazil internationals have been working away from the rest of the Real Madrid squad, and will not be available for the match on Wednesday.
Los Blancos face Barcelona in a fight for the first trophy of the season, but they will do so without the duo.
There had been tentative reports that the Ballon d’Or winner could make an appearance after missing Madrid’s last two matches.
However, the newspaper has claimed that the former Manchester United will almost certainly be out, with Carlo Ancelotti not willing to take any risks ahead of the Champions League semi-final with Bayern Munich later this month.
Marcelo will also miss the game at Valencia’s Mestalla, with Fabio Coentrao likely to play at left-back.
