Inter’s general director has confirmed that the Serie A club are interested in pursuing the signing of Chelsea’s Fernando Torres.
The Spanish forward has endured a difficult few years since joining the London club from Liverpool in a deal worth £50m.
Now, with Torres again struggling for goals and first-team appearances, it appears the Stamford Bridge outfit are finally willing to cut their losses on the player.
“He is one of the names that interests us,” Marco Fassone said to Radio Deejay. “Erick Thohir, our President, admitted that a few days ago.
“You will discover in due course exactly which players we are focusing on bringing to the club.”
