Tata Martino has admitted Barcelona ran out of ideas in their Champions League defeat to Atletico Madrid.
Los Rojiblancos progressed to the semi-final with a 2-1 aggregate win, triumphing 1-0 on Wednesday in front of a fevered Vicente Calderon.
“There were times we couldn’t do what we wanted to do or what we had to do with clear ideas,” SportYOU reports Martino as telling Canal+.
“Whenever there’s a result there’s a reason for it.
“They took their chance in the first 20 minutes. Maybe if we’d have scored we’d have changed the game.”
