Reports in the British Press this morning claim that Manchester United will target Carlo Ancelotti and Diego Simeone in the summer.
David Moyes’ stint as Coach at Old Trafford looks to be coming to an end, with the Premier League champions currently seventh in the table and unlikely to qualify for the top four come May.
As such, The Guardian suggest that the hierarchy at the club have drawn up a four-man shortlist to replace the Scotsman.
That list includes Real Madrid boss Ancelotti and Atletico Madrid tactician Simeone, as well as Jurgen Klopp of Borussia Dortmund and Louis Van Gaal.
Van Gaal seems to be the most gettable Coach on the shortlist, as he will leave his job with the Netherlands national team after the World Cup.
But the other three could be tempted to go to England, with a reported £200m transfer kitty waiting for them when they get there.
