It is claimed that Real Madrid have pulled out of the race to sign Toni Kroos, clearing the way for Manchester United to go for the playmaker.
The Bayern Munich midfielder has been heavily linked with a switch away from the Allianz Arena in the summer, with contract talks between himself and the Bundesliga outfit stalling.
And the Daily Express insists that Los Blancos have flinched at his €40m asking price, and have formally backed away from signing the Germany international.
As such, that leaves David Moyes’ men on their own to bid for Kroos.
