Line-ups: Madrid-Levante

Carlo Ancelotti has given starts to Dani Carvajal, Marcelo and Raphael Varane as Real Madrid host Levante.

It had been speculated in midweek that the Coach would make changes and the three, who replace Alvaro Arbeloa, Fabio Coentrao and Pepe from the team that drew with Atletico Madrid, were among the suggested alterations.

There is however no place for Isco, as had been rumoured. Instead, Angel Di Maria continues in midfield.

That means Madrid line-up in what has become their usual 4-3-3 formation with Diego Lopez in goal and Carvajal, Varane, Ramos and Marcelo making up the defence.

In midfield are Xabi Alonso, Luka Modric and Di Maria. Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale continue in attack.

Joaquin Caparros has named Keylor Navas in goal and what looks to be a back four of Loukas Vyntra, David Navarro, Juanfran and Nikos, although it has been suggested Levante could go with five at the back with Pedro Lopez dropping in.

Miguel Pallardo, Sergio Pinto and Mohamed Sissoko, who played under Ancelotti at Paris Saint-Germain, are in midfield, with David Barral and Andreas Ivanschitz ahead of them.

Real Madrid: Lopez; Carvajal, Varane, Ramos, Marcelo; Modric; Alonso; Di Maria; Bale, Benzema, Ronaldo

Levante: Navas; Vyntra, Navarro, Juanfran, Nikos; Pallardo, Sissoko, Pinto; Lopez, Barral, Ivanschitz
