Barcelona Coach Tata Martino has rejected reports he has been offered a contract extension.
It was claimed in the Spanish Press that Barca had put a new deal on the table, which would expire in 2016.
Martino however told a Press conference held prior to Barca’s game against Real Sociedad that no deal has been offered and certainly not agreed.
The Coach added that while he expects to speak with his bosses soon, he won’t tell the world when he does.
“We’ll see if the club present me with a renewal until 2016,” Martino said.
“The first 21 games have gone very well.
“I haven’t had a meeting to renew. We will at some point, but I won’t say publically when we do.
“I’ve not spoken to anyone about players for next season.”
