Song to make Premier League return?

Alex Song could be set to quit Barcelona for a return to the Premier League at the end of the season.

Marca has reported that Barca are willing to let the former Arsenal midfielder leave for substantially less than they paid the Gunners in 2012.

Song cost the Catalans somewhere in the region of £15m (€18.2m).

But it has not been an entirely happy time for the Cameroon international at Camp Nou as he has failed to nail down a place in the starting XI.

Having been a regular under Arsene Wenger, Song is expected to head back to England in search of a guaranteed place in the team, with a number of clubs preparing approaches.

He made more than 200 appearances for Arsenal, including 46 in all competitions in his final season, but last season only featured 20 times in La Liga for the Blaugrana.
