Arda Turan has insisted it is not in Atletico Madrid’s vocabulary to give up ahead of the Copa del Rey game against Real Madrid.
Los Blancos lead 3-0 from the first leg but with the return to come on Tuesday night at Vicente Calderon, Turan believes the game isn’t over.
“The result at the Bernabeu was harsher than we deserved,” he told Atletico’s official website.
“We are Atletico and we never give up on a game.
“We will give our maximum in the second leg.”
Turan added that whatever the outcome in the Cup, the season so far has been a positive one for Los Colchoneros.
“The season is still good but the most important thing is to finish in the best possible way.
“We must continue giving everything to achieve the objectives of the club.”
